SEXUAL EDUCATION, HIS EFFECT ON SEXUAL HEALTH


This article discusses sex education, its importance and impact on the sexual health of the population. With a low level of sexual education in modern living conditions, it is difficult to rely on building a marriage that is sexually and psychologically successful. The analysis of the level of sex education of first-year students of 15-16 years of age at the Kazakh-Russian Medical College of Almaty (KRMK) was carried out.

Relevance: Sexual life is an integral part of human life. Sexual health plays an important role in the implementation of sexual and childbearing functions, sexual relations between the sexes, affects the psychological state of a person. In 1977, the World Health Organization formulated the concept of sexual health as a complex of somatic, emotional, intellectual and social aspects of a person’s sexual existence, positively enriching his personality, enhancing

sociability of a person and his ability to love. Includes three main elements:

• the ability to enjoy and control sexual and childbearing behavior in accordance with the norms of social and personal ethics;

• freedom from fear, feelings of shame and guilt, misconceptions and other psychological factors that suppress the sexual response and interfere with the sexual relationship;

• the absence of organic disorders, diseases and deficiencies that hinder the implementation of sexual and childbearing functions. [one]

WHO carries out various strategic programs to improve the state of both sexual and reproductive health. 

  • In Kazakhstan, much attention is paid to improving reproductive health. 
  • The state program "Densaulyk 20162020", one of the goals of which is to reduce infant and maternal mortality, is aimed at improving reproductive health. 
  • In sexual health, the formation of sexual behavior with the aim of preventing STIs and preserving childbearing functions is primarily considered. Sexual improvement health contributes to both improving reproductive function and improving psychological and social well-being. 
  • The acquisition of knowledge about sexual relations contributes to the formation of the necessary sexual behavior, respect for sexual health, prevention of sexual dysfunctions. 
  • Many works of famous Russian and foreign sexologists convincingly prove the necessity of introducing sex education in school education. 
  • According to experts, sex education and training, like any other, should be carried out gradually, throughout the entire period of development and maturation of the child and adolescent, since early childhood.
  • The purpose of our study: the study of the level of sexual education among students of the KRMK 1 course as an aspect of the formation of sexual health. Objectives of the study.


1. To analyze the level of sexual education among students of the KRMK 1 course.

2. Determine the sources of knowledge gained. Materials and methods. The work was conducted on the basis of the KRMK of the city of Almaty; 60 first-year students on the basis of 9 classes, 15-16 years old, on issues of sex education were anonymously surveyed. According to this chart, among the students who showed an interest in sexual issues, the majority (86%) received information on the issue from the Internet, 14% received information from parents and from literary sources. Analyzing these data, we can say that teenagers are embarrassed to contact their parents with similar questions and many parents do not touch questions of sexual relations when raising a child; teenagers receive interesting answers to their questions from the Internet.
